Private Lessons

 

Whether you're beginner or an experienced riding looking to build confidence in the saddle, this unique individualized program will help you grow as a rider.  Lessons are started in balanced-seat hunt seat or dressage riding, which can later branch off into jumping, eventing, dressage, trail riding, you name it!  I have students showing from ground poles to 3' jumpers.  Intro to first level dressage.  

Experienced and kind lesson horses are available for you.  Some horses available for full or partial lease on site may be available as well.
 

Fear issues?  No problem!  I specialize in confidence-building through low-pressure, open and non-judgmental environment.

Plus-size riders welcome, I have some horses and tack that can accommodate you!  I will never ask your weight, I am plus-sized myself and ride these horses. 

By keeping number of students low, I strive to give everybody the personal attention they deserve, and have the feel of a true club; where riders, families, and friends support one another in our riding.
 

Sleepy Horse Riding Club is currently based out of several private farms in Elk River.  One provides us with year-round riding comfort with an indoor riding arena.  All also have a large outdoor arenas and plenty of very quiet dirt roads for trail riding.
 

Private lessons are $60 per hour.  Lesson packages can be purchased for a discount, please inquire! 

 

I have a fully insured riding program, and teach safety and fun as the most important parts of horsemanship.  You will be able to learn how to care for your horse or pony and become independent with them.  
 

Many time slots available from 10am until 8pm Wednesday-Sunday.
